Designing for Purchase:
Maximo Visual Inspection (MVI) Demo Experience

MVI is an AI tool that automates asset inspections by analyzing images and videos to detect defects, improving maintenance efficiency.
Hi-fidelity Design
These designs were delivered to the MaximoWorld Conference to gather feedback from customers.
This demo resulted in an increase of customer interest by 90%.
Overview
My Task
Create an Energy & Utilities flow to drive adoption by demonstrating industry-specific product use
Deliverable
Create an MVI demo delivered to MaximoWorld conference to gather feedback from customers
Outcome
The demo resulted in an increase of customer interest by 90%
Building on my experience with TRIRIGA, I applied its storytelling and workflow principles into the MVI experience.
Storyboards
Before putting pen to paper, I used this existing storyboard as a blueprint to guide my initial design exploration.

Designs
I curated key moments from the user workflow to build a strategic click-through demo that showcased the product's most valuable features.
These designs were delivered to the MaximoWorld Conference to gather feedback from customers.
This demo resulted in an increase of customer interest by 90%.
Turning Past Efforts into New Opportunities
After the successful conference debut, I defined a roadmap that established a strategic direction for the final team hand-off.
1.
Implement the designs for 3 other industries (civil infrastructure, oil & gas, transportation)
2.
Explore adding other onboarding opportunities such as adding a sidebar to jump to specific tasks
3.
Implement Maximo Visual inspection (MVI) AI model in the Maximo demo
Workflows I created for other industries: Civil infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Transportation
Looking ahead, I mapped out these storyboards to provide a blueprint for adapting our demo strategy to other industry sectors.

What I Learned
Learning to Prioritize Under Pressure
With limited time to deliver this project before the upcoming conference, I learned to set realistic goals, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly
How I Transferred Knowledge Across Products
I applied my workflow experience from TRIRIGA to Maximo, showing how proven strategies can be reused across product lines
