I'm currently a first-year Masters of Information student at the University of Michigan studying UX Research and Design. Recently, I graduated from University of California, Irvine with a double major in Informatics (Specialization in Human-Computer Interaction) and Music Performance (Specialization on Cello 🎻🎶).

I began my music journey at a young age, playing cello and piano. Throughout high school and college, I fell in love with chamber music for its teamwork and collaboration with other musicians. Performing allowed me to connect with the audience and evoke a range of emotions—excitement, inspiration, and more.

Then the pandemic hit and I thought to myself, “How do I translate my passion into a digital world?” This led me to pursue User Experience (UX) and add a dual major in Informatics with a specialization in Human Computer Interaction. I found music and UX have a lot of similarities and I could easily transition my skills easily; this includes teamwork and collaboration along with having an impact on the customers how they react to the applications and interfaces.
